Thank you, Harker Heights!

I am a U.S. Army veteran, a retired cybersecurity business owner, and your advocate for progress, unity, and action. With over 22 years of military service, 30+ years in information technology, and 7 years leading a successful cybersecurity company, I bring real-world leadership and results-driven experience to the Harker Heights City Council. And I will continue to ask the hard questions—because that’s what accountability demands.

From the Ground Up
I didn’t just run for office — I built a grassroots movement.
I knocked on doors.
I visited neighborhoods.
I listened.
Your stories, concerns, and ideas shaped the campaign and ultimately shaped this victory. Whether at a local restaurant, the library, or a community event, I showed up day after day to connect with residents. And I will continue showing up. That’s how we build a city that works for everyone.

What am I Bringing to the Table
Wealth of Experience
As a retired veteran and retired small business owner, I bring a diverse background in leadership, problem-solving, and service. I’ve managed global telecommunications networks, overseen military aviation operations, and built a successful business—embracing every challenge with resilience and dedication.

Harker Heights isn’t just where I live; it’s where I raised my family and watched my daughter grow through our schools. I understand the needs of our community because I’ve experienced them firsthand. With unwavering determination, I will stand strong for all the residents of Harker Heights, ensuring our city continues to thrive.

Clean Sustainable Drinking Water
Get Involved
As our community grows, ensuring a reliable supply of clean drinking water is paramount. While water conservation is essential, it's not the sole answer. We must look beyond our existing resources. Although Stillhouse and Belton Lakes are valuable assets, they alone cannot sustain our city's future. I am committed to exploring all viable options, including aquifers and desalination, to meet the evolving needs of Harker Heights. Together, we can build a sustainable water future.

Economic Development Throughout the City
Engage With Us
I believe that for a city to truly support its residents, we must prioritize economic development, including thoughtful rezoning to meet the needs of our growing community. Collaboration with business leaders is essential, as they are not only key drivers of our economy but also valued members of our city. Striking a balance between the needs of business owners, landowners, homeowners, and residents is crucial to fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for Harker Heights.

Public Transportation – The HOP
Make a Difference
As our city and population continue to grow, so should our public transportation options - The HOP. Expanding public transportation will benefit not only our residents but also our local businesses by increasing accessibility for customers from both Harker Heights and surrounding areas. When residents lack reliable transportation, it can limit their opportunities and impact local businesses by reducing potential revenue. Investing in public transit ensures a stronger, more connected community and a thriving local economy.
